The Factory of the Future

Inaugurated on Friday, May 26^th, the Factory of the Future: the project of Confindustria Brescia for the year of Bergamo Brescia – Italian Capital of Culture 2023.

The installation, set within the Brescia Water Park, the city park dedicated to environmental sustainability and managed by Ambiente Parco, includes a pavilion that talks about businesses and good practices, best representing the spirit of Brescia, that is, its ability to do business by looking at tradition but also at the future.

Inside the pavilion are narrated the projects of 30 companies from Brescia, selected through the idea competition launched in September by Confindustria Brescia, and divided into the five thematic categories Business Culture, Research and Innovation, Sustainability, Welfare and Business-Territory Synergy.

The pavilion has a size of 195 square meters and is built under the banner of eco-sustainability; in fact, all sustainable materials were used in its construction, which will then be recycled.

On the official website of the initiative: fabbricadelfuturo.com  is possible to view, constantly updated, all the initiatives planned for the coming months; the Metaverse “BresciaVerse” has also been created on the entertainment platform The Nemesis ( https://thenemesis.io/), which offers innovative virtual reality experiences, in which users-no matter where they are physically located-can create their own avatar, explore the virtual environments and contents of the Factory of the Future, with free access.

The pavilion is an important showcase on a local and national level, as our CEO Paolo Streparava, Vice President of Confindustria Brescia and creator of the project, pointed out at the launch press conference: “The Factory of the Future represents the main initiative of Confindustria Brescia for the appointment with Bergamo-Brescia Italian Capital of Culture 2023, the result of an extensive design work, which has involved at the forefront the world of making in Brescia, a land of innovative manufacturing excellence active worldwide. With the brand “Factory of the Future,” we will offer to Made in Brescia an important showcase locally and nationally, enhancing the proposals with specific communication actions.“
